Between Two Worlds

I move between apathy and conflict Acceptance is death, resistance is pain There was a time when I felt the joy, briefly, for a moment that I thought would last forever. Only then, when I stand on the precipice of extinction, can I see the wonderment of life. That place is there, between two worlds, the interface between life and death.

The cycle continues beyond space and time, throughout all eternity. Death and Re-birth. Just as you (re)birthed me and allowed me to emerge fully realized, I hold the space, not only in my heart but deep within my womb, for you to gestate. I do not know what, or who, you will be, but I love you unconditionally, unwaveringly, eternally. I sit in anticipation. I feel you move, kick and struggle, and know, that you are alive, forming and reforming, until that day when you must undergo the most powerful of transitions, to die from one world into another so that you may live and breathe for all to see.

Isis Eyes

I look at Life through Isis Eyes and everywhere I see the Beloved, the Divine. I embody the Virgin, the Sacred Prostitute, the Universal Dancer, in a time before and after Women were separate within and between themselves. I hear the music of my Destiny. The more I Surrender the more the Divine choreographer moves my body and soul. I have re-membered Osiris with my sister Nephthys I have seen the inhumanity of Set in my husband's eyes. I have birthed my Horus, my servant of God, and live to protected him from my Brother Set, until he is old enough to face the battle himself. I have been betrayed by my own sister Nephthys so that she might give birth to Anubis, Judgment I have accessed the portal to Pure, Divine Love in my Lovers chest, and KNOW that Love does exist, not in a fairy tale but within the Beloved. I dwell in the land of Al-Chemia in a constant state of transformation and transmutation. I have been initiated in Hathor's temple by the Divine Feminine. She has taught me to move through the portal Sirius to the archetypal and vibrational plane, and shown me the Divine Order by giving me the gift of sight, my Isis Eyes. The Beloved exists in and around us just waiting for each one to open their heart, to look with their Isis Eyes, and See.

Biography

Leslie Zehr is the author of The Alchemy of Dance: Sacred Dance as a Path to the Universal Dancer. Leslie, originally from Peru, raised in the USA, left western culture in 1986 to immigrate to Egypt. She is one of the very few writers and teachers of esoteric wisdom that actually resides in Egypt.

Leslie attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute where she majored in Biochemistry, completed the curriculum, and then changed her major to Psychology. She holds a BS in Psychology from VPI. In Cairo she continued her studies in alternative therapies and esoteric wisdom. Leslie holds International Certifications in Aromatherapy, Touch For Health and Hypnotherapy as well as International Diplomas in Classical Homeopathy and Sandplay therapy. She is also a Reiki Master.

In 1995 Leslie opened one of the very first Centres for Health and Well-being in Egypt. The Centre offers a Sacred Space for education and spiritual growth.

Leslie has the distinction of being Cairo's most prominent Aromatherapist. In February 2006 she presented a lecture on Aromatherapy to the Doctors at the National Research Center of Egypt as a way to introduce Aromatherapy to Department of Complementary Therapies.

Leslie's Shamanic work with plants has led her to develop a line of Egyptian Flower and Sacred Sites Remedies, called the Al-chemia Remedies. The remedies were birthed between the years 2000-2004. The last one was prepared on the 8th of June 2004, during the Venus transit when the goddess began her journey to the underground. The Remedies hold the energy of Egypt herself and can be used for transformational and alchemical healing.

During her Uranus opposition in 2002 she received an initiation in Upper Egypt, north of Luxor. The initiation opened a portal to the archetypal and vibrational plane. From that time on she began to have experiences and receive information about the Universal Dancer, her Great Work. Based on her experiences throughout Egypt, she has developed her method of teaching Dance and esoteric wisdom.
